It plays on the Fibonacci series, which these two geeks obviously know well. The starting numbers of the Fibonacci series are 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, … and the last panel suggests that 12 nachos are not enough to “do” the next item in the series.
What is the rule from which the next numbers in the Fibonacci series are generated, and how many nachos is he short?
Me, I never pictured Fibonacci with nachos before – I always pictured him with pizza…
